Magic? No, you silly homeless man. Ki is merely an extension of physics that you've yet to understand. Don't think, you psychopaths and sadists, that operating on and examining a corpse is going to get you any closer to understanding how to control and restrict it's use outside (or even in for that matter) your "Mind Prison Game." Think your portals are of any use either? Consider this: Every Trunks from a dimension where the androids effectively wiped out most of humanity traveled back in time to warn the other Z Warriors, thus creating an infinite number of time lines like the one where we watched. Does time pass simultaneously between these different dimensions? Not at all. Proof of this sentiment lies in the fact that there is a "Future" and "Chibi" Trunks. Furthermore, this would mean that in all the alternate timelines where Son Brolly's evil counterparts were slain, Gogeta has already killed Janemba who was able to utilize these "portals" that your aperture science is trying to exploit for greed, profit and sadistic pleasure. Currently, in my dimension, it is before Kid Buu's destruction and I will awaken after that happens. Though in here you might very well already be able to manipulate "portal" technology, in essence, it does not exist in reality so it has no affect outside of my coma's nightmare. Doubtless, however, you will be returned as Janemba when I have awoken in a much more powerful form. I should also let you know that even though you might be able cause a permanent displacement in my environment and atrophy of my abilities, there is nothing that you can do that cannot be undone. Please also note that ki energy is an extension of my very will, which flows from my immutable, indestructible (for energy cannot be destroyed), un-cage-able soul. It's the difference between "thinking" and "knowing". What is the "date"? I do not know the date, which is, in fact, for the best. I do know, however, that it will be soon. Kid Buu hasn't blown up the planet yet...

Some Techniques:
Note:
Ki is not of any elements though it has some, if not many or all, of the properties of elements. It does operate on the basis of the laws of physics as well. There are, perhaps, a few more elements to it’s operational properties as well. It is a kind of energy but unlike energy, it can be created. Like energy, it cannot be destroyed and can be manipulated. It does disappear completely after it's intended purpose. In other words: There's no ki left to exist after a Spirit Bomb is used on something. That's right: Ki exists when someone who manipulates it makes it but does not when it is not in use. Thus, science will never be able to kill something it did not create. Only those amongst the Choirs of Heaven can manipulate existence. Nobody gets in or out of the Choirs. Nobody infiltrates the Choirs. Infiltrators, spies and enemies are automatically seen. There are no exceptions. There never has been or will be. Thus it has been written and will always be. You don't need to create the "mass state" with your body as the attached source. You can easily create the "mass state" anywhere in your field of vision. Differences in strength become more noticeable over greater magnitudes, which itself varies with the ratios.
Examples:
1 vs. 2-9: Unnoticable
1 vs. 10: A tough fight. Extreme caution is necessary.
It should be noted, however, that a much more skillful defender can still conquer an opponent of this strength.
1 vs. 20: An overwhelming opponent. Allies are greatly recommended, if not absolutely necessary for survival.
Then again, allies are never a bad thing to have in the first place.
1 vs. 40: A vanquished defender lest some great event transpires.
Ki energy flows and is created from within. It's source lies within one's coiled serpent and flows upward through one's chakras. A person’s chakras are part of their body but aren’t an actual, physical organ so are thus immune from the scientologists sociopathic actions. Think of “gravity” and it’s very real effects on the electromagnetic field structure of the universe. The chakras are much like this. Every person has their chakras like every sun has it’s gravity. There is nothing that has or ever will exist that can stop a star from HAVING a gravitational field. Ki can be exerted from one's hands, elbows, knees, shins, eyes, etc. The transference of this energy occurs over the ley-lines of your body, which are like your chakras in their inability to be muted or blocked. Ki energy is invisible within one's body, like gravity. Ki can be sensed and suppressed as well. You are completely hidden or "invisible" from being sensed at 0. Those who are adept at sensing can see another's full potential even if they are as low as 1. Like peering down a hole and dropping a stone, waiting for the echo of the bottom. All these techniques use ki energy and the strength of the force behind the technique varies with the amount the user can exert over any amount of time. There are two kinds of stamina: Physical, which can bring about a winded sort of exhaustion and your ki reserve, which has a noticeable burning effect on your muscles and is something that can be dried like a well. One should be careful as to how they direct their ki energy so as not to eliminate the planet they might be combating upon. If the environment is not a concern, then make sure one does not cause destruction to any innocent bystanders. If that is not a concern, then you are evil. Physical blows and exchanges are not dangerous to the environment (except perhaps when one is knocked back from a momentous attack THROUGH their environment) but have the side effect of being extremely loud. Those who wish to go through life without hearing loss are cautioned in their approach to such noise. Physical exchanges also do not drain one's ki reserve but cause physical exhaustion. The first part of any ki energy technique is the gathering or conjuration, the second part is the exertion or evocation, the third part is the catch (hitting the target) or transmutation and then the release, where the user stops exerting. Naturally, techniques can "miss" their target if evasive techniques are used with perfect timing. It should also be noted that one can control their ki energy after the exertion much like a separate limb. Ki energy dissipates much like gravity over space and time after the user releases. Ki energy has an electromagnetic quality to it (thus allowing for the retention of it's properties as a body of mass and existence outside one's body) and it's effects are similar to that of fire. Think of it's "mass state" as fire in an aquatic form. Thus, it is a sort of plasma. Getting hit by a ki technique feels like being tattooed. Being eliminated down to your last string feels like getting a tattoo all over your body very quickly. It, naturally doesn't hurt after the nerves are eliminated (the "tattooing process"). The rest, I'd imagine, would feel like surfacing as air or steam from a body of water. It smells like fresh water. It is silent, like the wind before one hears the breeze against the tree's leaves. It does not have a taste for if you're getting a ki technique used on your tongue, you won't have a tongue afterwards. It's color and shape whilst in it's "mass state" is all dependent on the user's aura and the technique.
Blue is evil. Red and Yellow are intensely passionate. Cyan is absolute confidence. White and Green are unique.
Ki energy techniques can eliminate down to one's last strand of hair in existence, thus completely silencing the target and preventing regeneration. What happens to one afterwards depends on which life one is in and whether one is too dangerous and powerful to be confined in the Home for Infinite Losers.
- The Solar Flare: A star's brightness in the flash of a snapshot's moment, blinding all within it's area of effect.
- The Final Flash: A convex square that changes the fabric of reality itself where it exists, able to effectively stretch into any distance in four directions before cutting through the matter in it's path.
- The Spirit Bomb: A gathering of energy from all non-sentient life (the grass, trees and animals) and any sentient organisms that hear the call and answer within a radius dependent on the amount of time taken to gather. Gathering from any defined location is instantaneous though there is a "bottleneck" of sorts for the actual creation of the Bomb. This technique is only usable by those of a good heart. After the gathering, there is the toss, which is a separate part of the technique.
- Great Turtle's Wave: A bloom of aqueous energy that flowers forth from the user's hand in greater size when approaching the source. It washes through the enemy instead of piercing them like the Final Flash.
- The Red Burn: Multiplies your energy output (thus increasing your strength and agility) by the amount used. Attempting to go over the x10 limit puts you at risk of instantly dying of internal ruptures.
- Sacrifice: A great tsunami of energy washes over all in the area of effect at the expense of the user's body. Those with regenerative capabilities can perform this technique but come back from a single strand if they are powerful enough. This, however, does come at the cost of a sacrifice lessened in it’s magnitude.
- Special Beam Cannon: A piercing javelin with a corkscrew's digging affect added for good measure.
- Instantaneous Transmission: The user travels faster than the speed of light itself.
- Burst Transmission: The user can gather variable amounts of energy for an attack instantaneously. The taxation on their stamina is also felt instantaneously. It can also be used to suppress one's energy signal in a fight so as to be hidden whilst moving with great agility before the the pounce. This, itself, does not require as much energy and can be done with ease with enough practice.
- Telepathy: One can learn how to communicate with others vis a vis the mental transference of a thought. Think of your mind's voice as a radio signal coming from a broadcast antenna (your brain) and traveling instantaneously to the target.
- The Fusion Dance: A strange dance that requires perfection in stance, timing and technique that brings two warriors together and increases their full potential to exponential heights via a strange algorithm.
- Razor Disc: A circular saw of razor edged energy that can cut through any surface with effortless ease regardless of the source’s power in comparison to the target’s. A somewhat awkward technique that’s relatively slow in velocity but extremely effective if used properly.
- Dot Bullet: Much like a firearm's ammunition (roughly 50mm in size), only powered through ki energy as opposed to being artificially created.
- Eye Beam: Think Superman.
- The Big Bang: An explosive sphere of exponential magnitude.
- Machine Gun: The user tosses a volley of energy spheres that can cling (a timed detonation) or explode on impact at an inundating rate of fire.
- Circle of Death: A ring that can either put a hole in the target or lock around a limb like a chain.
- Projection Sphere: A bubble of raw energy radiates outward from the user.
- Diamond's Brace: The user locks their arms around or underneath the shoulders of their target in a tight, irreversible brace and then causes the burst transmission of a projection sphere through their third eye's chakra whilst instantaneously retreating, leaving the user unscathed from the ensuing blast.
- Dragon Fist: The user gathers a titanic amount of energy into a single punch, which wraps itself around the target before evaporating it in an acidic bath of ki energy. A very complicated but stupendously effective technique to master.
- Draconic Strikes: Through extensive practice, the user learns to generate the previous technique’s power through every melee strike they use. This takes a great deal of time to master efficiently.
- Star Dust Breaker: A prismatic sphere that explodes outwards.
- Ki Sphere: A simple technique that takes very little energy, can vary in strength but always produces an explosive affect. Think of it like an exploding baseball. There's the base mass and velocity but the explosive effect increases with one's own power.
- Power Up: A warrior's base and full potential are two separate factors. The power up itself requires time, costs no ki energy but does drain one's physical stamina. Warriors can, through rigorous endurance training, make their base their full potential for lengthy periods of time.
Initially in his training, when one isn't very strong, their base and full potential are one in the same. However, rigorous exercise and practice causes the latter to increase first, at a faster rate whilst the base increases at a much slower pace. One's full potential is viable during their training but they'll notice a sort of "retreat" in their energy when the warrior is in a relaxed state. Their "relaxed", or "non exertion" state (though one can still be vigilant!) should be what one aims to increase the most considering combat can begin at any moment anywhere. This is where constant meditation, reflection and resistance training comes in handy.

Notations on the Saiyajin’s ascensions:
- Ascending requires physical stamina and time to perform, though less will be necessary the more one has trained to the point where the effects are negligible.
- Ascending effectively increases the Saiyajin's strength and agility, though being in these transformed states steadily drains one's ki reserves, which are (in an up shot) increased dramatically through the ascensions.
- The Saiyajin should take heart not to let their fury get the best of them when they have ascended for the first time.
- The first two ascensions raise the Saiyajin's hair on end in tight locks and all of the first three changes it to a golden yellow. All of them cause the Saiyajin's eyes to change into a deep cyan. Each one progressively adds a little bit more to the Saiyajin's muscle mass to help increase their strength and energy generation.
- The second to fourth ascensions cause a noticeable current of electricity to bathe and surround the user when they are transformed and at their ascension's full potential.
- The third and fourth ascensions are extremely taxing in the land of the living and cause the Saiyajin's hair to actually lengthen into long, flowing locks.
- The third has a noticeable effect on the Saiyajin's eyebrows. The fourth does not.
- The fourth and final also changes the Saiyajin's aura from goldenrod to a platinum blonde.
- The energy output of the third can be felt in both the land of the living and the land of the dead.
- The fourth's output is of an exponentially greater magnitude.
- The energy output generated by the third and fourth ascensions can rip apart the fabric of reality itself in the user's environment so one should take care not to cause their own planet's destruction or the deaths of innocents. Containing this output is akin to traversing into a black hole's center and returning so one should bid extreme caution when attempting to reach these heightened states.
- While one must be motivated by something that causes great despair and rage for their ascension, this is only the prerequisite for the very first. The others can be attained through rigorous martial training though the aforementioned emotions still help a great deal.
There is only one subtle difference between the Jedi and the good-hearted Saiyajin: The Jedi note that the darksiders seek to increase their strength in the use of The Force, to push their limits while they only want to use it when necessary in the most minimal amounts. Saiyajins and other warriors of the fist, however, love to train (at least those of a good heart do, which is an admirable [and fun] price to pay considering darksiders almost always acquire their power through quick, brutal means [often at another's {usually unwilling} expense {and they’ll be more than happy to define imprisonment and sadism as “love, exercise, training, friendship, adoration, etc” for the amusement the lie causes amongst their subordinates}]) and fight but are not corrupted by their endeavors. In other words, to warriors of the fist, "overkill" is acceptable. One can never be too certain...
